Job Summary: The role of Maintenance Electrician is crucial at Weber. This position involves hands-on tasks to ensure equipment readiness, striving for zero downtime and ensuring all systems function perfectly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Maintenance Electrician:

• Participate in advanced skill duties for maintenance involving electric utility facilities and machinery.
• Maintain and repair various electrical components and systems.
• Prepare documentation for maintenance operations.
• Troubleshoot machinery problems effectively.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities accurately and on time.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems.
• Identify and correct system malfunctions.
• Ensure safety compliance and hazard prevention.
• Test electrical circuits to guarantee safety and compatibility.
• Assist engineering and production teams as needed.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks.
• Follow company safety protocols diligently.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Guidelines:

Knowledge Requirements for Maintenance Electrician: Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance, safety practices, and relevant regulations, along with basic engineering techniques and computer applications.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Trade certificates, along with 5 years of experience or Trade school certificate. Additional certifications in PLC, II, NICET, OSHA, HVAC, CFC, EO1, CPR.

Education and/or Experience: Associate degrees in Technical, Industrial, Electrician, General Electrical Education, or Associates Electrical Engineering.

Work Environment: The work environment involves exposure to mechanical parts and potential electrical risks. Protective gear is a must. It can also include exposure to various conditions like wetness, heights, fumes, weather changes, heat, and vibrations.
