BrioHealth Solutions is seeking a Training and Education Instructional Designer to play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive training programs for our internal teams and external stakeholders. You will be a key contributor to our Training and Education team creating engaging training content, facilitating in-person training programs, and building content for our Learning Management System (LMS). This role requires a combination of instructional design expertise, effective communication skills, and a passion for enhancing the knowledge and skills of our employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage training programs for Briohealth Solutions' products, addressing the needs of internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals.
  • Create visually engaging and interactive training content to effectively communicate a wide variety of topics involving internal corporate and customer educational initiatives.
  • Conduct live training and education programs, ensuring a professional, high quality, consistent learning experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Affairs, Sales, and Marketing, to align training programs with product developments, regulatory guidelines, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learner accessibility and usability.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop targeted programs to address those gaps.
  • Help develop and maintain a continuous improvement program to optimize training and education quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using a multifaceted approach including feedback, assessments, and metrics.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and educational methodologies to continuously enhance the training curriculum.
  • Support the Training and Education Director with identification and implementation of programs to address unmet corporate educational needs while managing the training budget and resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams and external partners on training-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and education roles, with a focus on instructional design and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of ventricular assist devices, cardiac anatomy, and cardiovascular care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS) – Absorb preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with database design, maintenance, and navigation to manage a growing inventory of instructional materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts visually, clearly, and engagingly.
  • Detail and solution-oriented approach with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the medical device industry.
  • Self-motivated, with the capacity to work independently and in a team.
  • Learner-focused and dedicated to delivering an exceptional learner experience.
