The Retirement Plan Consultant II plays a crucial role in offering unbiased guidance that matches the requirements of plan sponsors and eligible employees under the relevant retirement savings plan. You have the chance to earn bonuses based on set plan targets and will be assessed on client satisfaction scores.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver informative sessions, both one-on-one and group settings, in person or through virtual platforms, to raise awareness about plan benefits and boost plan assets. Sessions involve conducting enrollment meetings, financial education sessions based on age, and basic to advanced financial literacy sessions as per sponsor requests or the communication and education plan in place.
  • Engage actively in benefit fairs and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Join in the yearly plan evaluation and financial education strategy development.
  • Support Relationship Managers and District Vice Presidents in targeted education initiatives aimed at enhancing participation and contribution rates.
  • Interact with participants and eligible staff to provide guidance on plan involvement.
  • Travel may be necessary for new plan enrollments as required, with flexibility for up to 50% or more travel during peak periods.

Required Skills:
  • Preferably a BA/BS degree
  • Preferred certifications: Series 7, Series 66, and mandatory state insurance licenses
  • Desired designations: CFP, ChFC, or similar
  • Excellent presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is an advantage
