If you have a high school diploma or equivalent, some prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations, and the ability to work independently or as a team member, we want to hear from you

Position Overview:
  • Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers for loading
Essential Functions:
  • Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment
  • Verify documentation matches freight description
  • Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
  • Recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary
  • Verify and complete required documentation and reports
  • Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations and company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
  • Ability to lift/carry hand freight of varying weights and perform basic math
Working Conditions:
  • Dock environment; exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, noise
  • Fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
