The Informatics Nurse will play a crucial role in using clinical information systems to support the goals and objectives of our healthcare practice.


Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Information Systems :
Ensure effective use of clinical information systems to align with our clinical and strategic goals.

Liaison Role:
Act as a bridge between clinicians and the IT department, ensuring smooth communication and system functionality.

Patient Care:
Provide age-appropriate care to patients and families, ensuring all care practices meet safety standards.

Safety Practices:
Support and implement patient safety measures and other relevant safety practices.

Data Management:
Manage and analyze clinical data to improve patient outcomes and support clinical decision-making.

Position Details:
Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks

Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., periodically working evenings and/or weekends with go-live implementations.

Hybrid position with onsite work in the St. Cloudand surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

Education:
Associate degree in nursing required.

Bachelor's degree or higher degree in nursing required within 3 years.

Experience:

4 years at a minimum of clinical, operational, or related application experience required. Experience in both ambulatory and inpatient setting preferred.


Strong understanding of clinical information systems, data management, project management, excellent communication/presentation skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.


Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
Nursing Informatics Certification issued by the American Nursing Credentialing Center within 3 years preferred.

Epic system application specific proficiency required within one year of hire.
