Psychologist:

Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences has multiple specialties to recruit for. Duties include:

  • PCMHI: Performs psychological assessment, triage, and brief psychotherapy in primary care. Provides psycho-diagnostic services and therapeutic interventions.
  • TRP PTSD/SUD: Provides psychodiagnostic services and diagnoses mental disorders in complex patients. Offers quality direct patient care and provides education on psychological conditions.
  • Suicide Prevention: Assists in managing high-risk patients, conducting assessments, and contacting veterans for mental health appointments.
  • Health Behavior Coordinator: Primary clinical role in health behavior coaching, consultation, and training programs for chronic disease management.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

  • U.S. Citizenship required. Possible urinalysis for drug screening.
  • Selective Service Registration mandatory for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical examination.
  • Participation in vaccination programs mandatory.

Applicants must meet educational and licensure requirements.

Grade Determinations: Experience as a professional psychologist required.

Physical Requirements include patience, emotional regulation, and physical assistance when needed.

Education

IMPORTANT: A transcript must be provided if education is a qualification.

Qualifications: Basic requirements include U.S. Citizenship, doctoral degree in psychology, and professional psychology internship.

Licensure: Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted psychology license.
