Colliers Engineering & Design is actively looking for Architects to join our team in Toledo, OH
Our team of skilled architects collaborates closely with clients throughout the design process to bring a shared vision to life. We offer a wide range of services, from initial planning to final design and construction oversight, for various projects including new constructions, renovations, and adaptive reuse. Our expertise spans across commercial development, education, technology, public works, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in fee preparation, scoping, and marketing strategies for projects
- Ensure compliance with building codes
- Develop comprehensive construction documentation
- Research materials and costs
- Collaborate with Project Manager for design quality assurance
- Coordinate with project team members and external professionals
- Participate in client meetings and documentation
- Review and respond to project inquiries
- Support proposal creation and client presentations
- Supervise junior team members
- Conduct site visits for construction oversight
- Assist in project planning and budgeting
- Engage with clients for project coordination
- Act as on-site project representative
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum 5 years of architectural experience
- Registered Architect in Ohio or close to licensure within 6 months
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience in mentoring is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
