We are seeking a diligent Heavy Mechanical Assembler to construct components of crane systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for working with hand tools, power tools, and blueprints to accurately assemble parts into final products.

Duties include planning workflow, laying out jobs, inspecting parts for specification adherence, grinding or torching as needed, filling counterweights, cutting and stamping gaskets, assembling hydraulics and air lines, locating parts for assembly, lubricating parts, assembling cranes and crane sub-assemblies, assisting in workflow management, ensuring production specifications and quality standards are met, operating and performing final checks of products, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards, following safety regulations, and completing all required paperwork.

We are hiring for _FIRST SHIFT AND OVERNIGHT SHIFT_
Pay:$21hr_*Eligible for pay raise at 90 day review and again at 6 months_
Shift:+ 6am - 4pm M - F

Essential Functions:

· Mechanical and Electrical Assembly, blueprints, hand tools, measuring tools, wiring, automotive, hydraulics· Assembling components for crane systems, different models, hydraulics and air lines· Assemble cranes and crane sub-assemblies forstandard products, support production schedules· Hand tools, power tools, and will work offblueprints, locateparts, lubricate parts· Fill counter weights, cut and stamp gaskets· Each person will have his/her own workstation/area· Plan work flow and lay out jobs· Inspect parts for adherence to specifications; grind or torch as needed· Ensure bearings, seals and hydraulics fit and operate according to instructions· Assist in maintaining the flow of work through the department· Ensure production specifications and quality standards are met· Operate and perform final check of finished products, departmental housekeeping standards
Additional Skills and Qualifications:+ Blueprint reading+ Mechanical assembly+ Tool operation (hand tools, power tools)+ Grinding+ Torching+ Hydraulics assembly+ Quality inspection+ Two years in heavy assembly/mechanical work+ Lift 50 lbs+ Must be able to read schematics and wiring diagrams+ Automotive mechanics, hydraulic mechanics, military mechanics all work well+ Mechanical troubleshooting knowledge is all highly desirable+ Need to know how mechanical parts fit and work together+ Requires general education to do basic math+ At least 3 months in assembling mechanical components+ Ability to use hand and power tools+ Ability to operate hoists and ability to lift an carry tools and parts
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Georgetown, Texas.
Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a manufacturing facility with a 1st shift schedule from Monday-Friday, 6am-4:00pm. Some weekend work may be required, especially towards the end of the month to meet production goals.

The work environment features moderate to loud noise levels from power tools and welding equipment, with a significant amount of time spent near mechanical moving parts and occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions.
