The Assistant Professor position at Mount Carmel College of Nursing involves teaching students in the Traditional Undergraduate program with a focus on OB nursing.
Faculty members are responsible for maintaining academic records, advising students, and contributing to curriculum development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising, evaluating, and advising students in laboratory and clinical experiences.
- Maintaining student records.
- Creating a nurturing environment that fosters critical thinking and respect for individual students.
- Participating in professional activities and organizations.
- Engaging in scholarly activities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Master's degree required, doctorate preferred.
- Experience in OB nursing.
- Valid RN licensure in Ohio and CPR certification.
- Minimum of two years of nursing practice.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Engagement in professional and community organizations.
