Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care for our clients at Right at Home Collin County. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing physician orders, care plans, and all professional standards while ensuring the well-being of our clients and their families.


  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Conduct initial assessments and make necessary revisions based on client needs
    • Administer treatments and medications as per care plan and physician orders
    • Showcase critical thinking skills in decision-making

    • Demonstrate technical nursing competencies within legal boundaries
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Respect client's home environment
    • Build trust with clients, families, and caregivers

  • Communication Skills:
    • Effectively communicate with clients, families, and colleagues
    • Collaborate with physicians and provide education to clients
    • Listen actively to feedback and respond proactively
  • Analysis and Reporting:
    • Identify changes in client condition and report promptly
    • Play a vital role in preventing unnecessary hospital visits
    • Coordinate discharge planning efficiently
  • Professional Development:
    • Support and mentor new caregivers
    • Adapt to meet the needs of the care team
  • Requirements:
    • Registered Nurse with valid state licensure
    • 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health/hospice
    • Current CPR certification
    • Ability to perform nursing procedures under physician direction
    • Valid driver's license and access to transportation
    • Weekend and holiday availability
    • Proficient in English
    • Participation in education programs as required
  • Additional Functions:
    • Perform general office tasks as needed
    • Engage in community activities
