Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
  • Provide basic training to pets on grooming etiquette and behavior
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
  • Monitor pet health during grooming sessions and report any concerns to the appropriate staff

Experience:

  • Previous experience in pet care or handling animals is preferred
  • Knowledge of various breeds and their specific grooming requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
  • Experience in customer service to ensure client satisfaction
  • Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary assistance is a plus
  • Pet sitting experience is beneficial for understanding animal behavior

Job Types:

$ $60.00 per hour
