Under general supervision, this role involves handling a diverse range of intricate loan servicing tasks in alignment with regulatory and bank protocols:

  • Boards all consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans on the Bank's loan core.
  • Manages and upkeeps the current loan portfolio, addressing tasks such as loan maintenance, code corrections, reversals, payment reapplications, general ledger account settlements, escrow functions, participation functions, and collateral monitoring.
  • Addresses and resolves internal and external customer inquiries promptly and professionally through the ticketing system and the Contact Center.
  • Provides accurate loan payoff quotes in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains daily and monthly reports diligently.
  • Executes charge-off and non-accrual functions.
  • Collaborates with various internal departments to handle all loan-level exceptions.
  • Conducts tests on system releases for both new and existing functionalities.
  • Participates in relevant projects as necessary.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to operational controls, policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with bank regulations and laws.
  • Performs any other duties within the scope of this job classification.

Position Requirements (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):
  • Proficiency in loan operations, software systems, loan varieties, and loan compliance.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and procedures associated with lending.
  • Familiarity with Loan Servicing regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate information compellingly.
  • Ability to adapt to technological advancements and integrate them into current and future responsibilities.
  • Skill in recognizing and addressing underlying needs; ensuring follow-up on inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Capable of proactively completing tasks, identifying and resolving issues, enhancing processes, products, and services within assigned authority limits.
  • Adept at anticipating, monitoring, and fulfilling customer needs (internally and externally) and responding appropriately.
  • Strong teamwork, effective communication, and positive customer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize various job duties, meet deadlines, and adjust to shifting priorities.
  • Displays a commitment to achieving a high standard of performance.

Education/Experience:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in loan processing or loan servicing, or a related field.
  • Preferably a minimum of two (2) years of experience in Loan Operations and/or Loan Servicing.
  • Knowledge of Fiserv Signature is a plus.


Physical Requirements:
The demands of this role include sitting, using hands for tasks, talking, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally crawling. Visual requirements involve close vision and color recognition.
