ME Psychotherapy is a caring and compassionate group psychotherapy practice with a specialty focus on women's mental health. We have 20 providers and offices located in Providence & Narragansett, Rhode Island. We also offer Telehealth and Walk & Talk therapy.

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and open-minded nurse practitioner to provide medication management to clients of our practice. This is a primary remote job, however, there is office space available in our Narragansett, RI location if you would like to offer in-person appointments.

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing psychiatric assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, developing and implementing treatment plans, and prescribing medication as necessary. They will collaborate with a team of clinicians to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.

Our practice has an excellent administrative team consisting of an Office Director, Administrative Assistant, and Billing Assistant. We provide all new client onboarding, billing, and new provide credentialing services. We use the system Simple Practice for our main EHR platform and another program for e-prescribing.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Experience working in mental health settings
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment and diagnosis
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
