Job Description
Currently, PCI is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in PCI Atlanta, Fayetteville, GA. As a key member of our operations, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed takeoffs for construction projects
  • Establishing labor productivities for estimates
  • Cultivating strong relationships with local vendors for competitive pricing of materials and equipment
  • Requesting subcontractor pricing for outsourced tasks
  • Analyzing market conditions to determine margin percentages
  • Participating in internal bid reviews
  • Contributing to customer relations objectives
  • Overseeing contract administration for projects
  • Creating wage and benefit schedules
  • Collaborating with the Operations Team for project handovers
  • Supporting in other project-related tasks like change order management or billings

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project estimation

Minimum Requirements

  • Proficiency in estimating, project management, and overseeing specialty construction scopes
  • Ability to interpret specifications and drawings accurately
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and cost analysis skills
  • Proficiency in computerized takeoff & estimating tools such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
  • Experience in collaborating with union representatives
  • Expertise in interior construction scopes
  • OSHA Certification
  • Local candidate from the Atlanta metro area
