Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Ironwood, Michigan. This 13-week assignment offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment, delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Assist the surgical team during operations, ensuring patient safety and sterile conditions.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring optimal care and response to treatment.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful surgical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR RN.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
