The position of home health aide is a crucial role within the home care team, working alongside a registered nurse to deliver essential personal care services for patients. The aide will play a key role in maintaining the quality, continuity, and safety of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care services such as baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing bed linens
• Assisting patients with dressing, toileting activities, and feeding
• Keeping the patient's living area clean and orderly
• Monitoring vital signs and assisting with ambulation and exercise

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant training program
• Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant
• Experience in dementia care, hospice care, or assisted living preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
