  • Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients, either at the bedside or remotely through specialized software.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using monitoring software and document patient observations promptly.
  • Maintain constant visual observation of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Identify and address safety hazards in the patient's environment.
  • Communicate patient needs effectively to the healthcare team.
  • Assist patients with comfort, safety, and satisfaction, and report any changes in patient condition promptly.
  • Respond to patient emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Engage with patients through various activities to provide support and alleviate boredom.
  • Document patient care accurately and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure continuous patient observation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a patient care environment is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
