RoleThis role as a Mental Health Clinician is a key part of the ACMHS Team, focusing on providing assessment, evidence-based treatment, and case management services to adults with psychological disorders or mental illness. The position involves offering support that is recovery-focused and tailored to each individual's needs. Working within a multidisciplinary community mental health team, the role includes conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and ensuring compliance with the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of clients, including risk assessments.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients with psychological disorders and/or mental illnesses.
  • Offer case management services within a recovery framework to clients with enduring mental illness.
  • Engage families and carers in assessments, care planning, and reviews when appropriate.
  • Maintain compliance with the NSW Mental Health Act 2007.
We are looking for candidates who meet specific requirements for this exceptional opportunity such as registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, relevant tertiary qualifications, and demonstrated experience in working with adults with psychological disorders.
