Job Summary

We are looking for an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician to join our team. Your responsibilities will include conducting tests, collecting and analyzing data, preparing lab reports, operating and maintaining AM lab equipment, and documenting procedures. You will collaborate with engineers and lab staff for AM testing, technological product evaluation, and equipment calibration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to engineers and team members in the research department.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze test results, and propose solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for engineering projects and equipment.
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of AM equipment.
  • Assist in printing and post-processing AM prototypes.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Comply with safety regulations and participate in safety audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and new technologies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate degree in mechanical engineering.
  • 2-5 years of experience.

Travel & Work Requirements

Requires 10-15% travel to Ingersoll Rand testing and manufacturing facilities.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Experience with AM machines/processes.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition systems and instrumentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and LabVIEW is a plus.
