About the role
The Remediation Technician is responsible for assembling and configuring computer equipment daily. Responsibilities include:
- Assembling and configuring Chromebooks, laptops, iPads, and MacBook laptops daily
- Aiming to complete about 150 units daily
- Scanning and uploading data for incoming shipments
- Installing applications and setting up Wi-Fi profiles
- Demonstrating good communication skills to effectively convey work scope and updates to customers in person or over the phone
- Serving as a point of contact for all related inquiries
Candidate requirements
- Minimum age of 18 with a High School diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a full background check and drug screening
- Possession of reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid Driver's License
- Familiarity with computer technologies (Desktops, Laptops, Chromebooks, Tablets, or Peripherals)
- Capability to lift devices up to a certain weight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
- Able to commute to Addison, IL 60101 or willing to relocate
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions
