About the role

The Remediation Technician is responsible for assembling and configuring computer equipment daily. Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and configuring Chromebooks, laptops, iPads, and MacBook laptops daily
  • Aiming to complete about 150 units daily
  • Scanning and uploading data for incoming shipments
  • Installing applications and setting up Wi-Fi profiles
  • Demonstrating good communication skills to effectively convey work scope and updates to customers in person or over the phone
  • Serving as a point of contact for all related inquiries

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 with a High School diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a full background check and drug screening
  • Possession of reliable transportation, insurance, and a valid Driver's License
  • Familiarity with computer technologies (Desktops, Laptops, Chromebooks, Tablets, or Peripherals)
  • Capability to lift devices up to a certain weight
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
  • Able to commute to Addison, IL 60101 or willing to relocate
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow instructions
