We partner with our Nurses at Doctors Hospital of AugustaThe Day Surgery Registered Nurse will provide professional surgical nursing pre-operative care to patients utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with other members of the health care delivery team, including physicians, to assure quality health care.
The Day Surgery Nurse assumes responsibility for ensuring effective communication with the other Registered Nurses, surgeons, patients, and their families, and the other members of the surgical team.
You will work alongside surgical teams to ensure that patients receive the best possible careYou will engage in pre and intraoperative interventions, including but not limited to: vascular, neuro, spinal, thoracic, GI, GU, GYN, orthopedic, skeletal/ muscular conditions and diseases, etc.
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate degree in Nursing or higher is requiredCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
Minimum of 1-year previous experience of Perioperative Nursing is strongly preferred
