The Opportunity
- Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physcians.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
- CCHP-P Certified preferred but not required.
- DEA Licensure.
- Two years experience in acute care (ER or hospital based practice) within past five years is a plus.
- Two years experience in correctional health setting is a plus.

- Part of the San Bernardino County Detention Center network.
- The facility provides medical, dental, and mental health services.
- Pre-trial inmates make up a majority of the population.
- Medical care is provided from the time of booking through release and health professionals are on duty 24/7.
- The facility houses inmates with the greatest medical needs and includes two special medical/mental health housing areas staffed around the clock with medical professionals.
- A large variety of restaurants, cuisines, shopping, sporting events, culture, and history throughout the city.
