Job Overview:
  • The Finishing Technician role involves a variety of tasks such as tumbling, deburring, polishing, buffing, blasting, welding, anodizing, and assembly of diverse materials including titanium, aluminum, stainless metals, and various types of plastic parts.
  • Working based on written standard operating procedures and instructions, the Finishing Tech ensures that products meet the required quality standards, crucial for patient safety and positive customer results.

Shift:
  • Swing Shift, from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Adherence to SOPs and WIs for timely completion of tasks.
  • Basic understanding of blueprint reading for anodization and assembly operations.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of DI water system for anodization.
  • Assistance in designing and developing fixturing as necessary for anodization process.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards and timely project completion.
  • Conducting equipment maintenance and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Supporting customer service, lean manufacturing concepts, and process improvements.
  • Promoting a safe work environment and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
  • Meeting quality, productivity, training, and efficiency goals consistently.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in metal finishing and media blasting is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and honesty.
