As a Bartender, you can expect to earn an average of $500 - $1200 per week working Part Time or Full Time. We are seeking experienced Bartenders eager to grow their careers in the restaurant industry and who have a deep love for food and beverages. We expect all team members to provide exceptional and knowledgeable guest service, surpassing expectations every time. Collaboration and excellence in a team-oriented setting are key. Every team member must understand their role's responsibilities and adhere to all company standards and guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 21 to serve alcoholic beverages
  • 3 years' experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting with expertise in craft/classic cocktails
  • High school diploma required, some college education preferred
  • Possession of a current CA Food Handler's Card
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests, management, and colleagues
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Thorough knowledge of bartender steps of service and adherence to KSC standards

Essential Job Functions:

  • Carry out opening duties as assigned
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing suggestive selling techniques
  • Enter orders into the point-of-sale system; if the system is down, accurately write down orders and communicate with the expeditor
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages at the bar, serving guests and servers
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
  • Uncork wine/champagne bottles for guests and pour wine by the glass
  • Prepare various coffee beverages following restaurant standards
  • Serve all food courses and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Greet all guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly, even during busy times
  • Interact professionally and courteously with guests, management, and team members
  • Maintain bar cleanliness throughout service, ensuring it is ready for the next guest
  • Wash and restock all bar glassware during the shift
  • Present guest checks and handle payments following cash and credit policies
  • Immediately clean and sanitize the bar after each guest leaves
  • Collect and report tips at the end of your shift
  • Complete assigned closing duties
  • Update bartender checkout and all closing reports before leaving, reporting to the Manager
