Materials Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Use Excelbased project trackers to compile and distribute weekly schedules and reports to vendors, confirming order status and delivery dates, and updating the Materials and Project Management teams on any impacts.
  • Generate and distribute weekly reports on upcoming material needs to the Project Management and Engineering teams, highlighting necessary schedule changes and priority work orders.
  • Ensure lead times for material buyouts are recorded, highlight missing information, and report to the Materials team.
  • Attend project meetings to update on vendor order status, assist with preparation of product samples for submittal, and update tracker status for received buyout materials.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field of Supply Chain or Business Admin is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes and terminology preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

$ $23.00 per hour
