The Role

Join our team at The Vermont Country Store as a Custodian responsible for keeping the Rockingham Store clean and organized. This position is available for both Full Time and Part Time schedules.

Location

You'll be working at our Rockingham store situated at 1292 Rockingham Road in Bellows Falls. This role requires you to be present on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure cleanliness of the store by sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
  • Dispose of trash from various areas like registers, restrooms, offices, and common spaces
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restrooms, along with restocking necessary supplies
  • Assist in managing the inventory of cleaning supplies
Desired Qualifications
  • Flexible scheduling, including availability for weekends and occasional holidays
  • No prior experience in housekeeping needed as training will be provided
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, capable of working independently or in a team
  • Self-driven with effective communication abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 150 pounds
