Job Title: EPIC Trainer- Patient Access

Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference through healthcare? Join our team as an EPIC Trainer- Patient Access at PHC. In this role, you will be responsible for developing training curricula and plans to ensure staff receive the necessary training to effectively use Epic software and maintain competency in patient access workflows. You will collaborate with various departments to deliver comprehensive training programs and provide support to end users as needed. Embody PHC's iCare Values daily in your work.

  • Develop structured onboarding and training for new hires in Epic Patient Access
  • Assess training needs and develop solutions
  • Conduct periodic evaluations and competency checks
  • Deliver training in classroom and clinic settings
  • Create role-based training content using various tools
  • Identify and address staff knowledge gaps
  • Apply adult learning principles to training programs
  • Collaborate with clinic leaders on workflow creation and training

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in healthcare and/or adult education/training
  • Proficiency in Epic software and Microsoft applications
  • Effective communication skills and ability to adapt training delivery
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Experience as an EMR Trainer or similar role
  • Epic Certification
