As the CNC Machinist you would be responsible for setup, programming, operating, and performing operational maintenance on CNC machines and machining centers.

Salary:
$22 to $28 an hour based on experienceDirect Hire opportunity with the company.

Duties/Responsibilities Setup and operation of 4 axis mills, machining centers, 2 axis lathes, and 4 axis lathes with live tooling.

Load program and perform minor program edits using FANUC, Brother or Okuma controls. Read and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part. Program machine to determine cutting tools, speed, feed, and depth of cut necessary. Inspect and measure finished products to verify conformance to specifications, tolerances, and dimensions. Select, align, and secure work holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines. May cut own raw material stock. Resolve machining problems by consulting with supervisors, quality personnel, or production personnel. Deburr and remove sharp edges from machined parts. Perform general operational and routine maintenance work on machine and tools. Record time on labor/production sheets for machining process efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications 3 years or more experience in CNC Machining, including setup, operation and programming of CNC machines. High School Diploma or GED. Certificate or Journeyman card a plus. Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
