- Report directly to the Director of Emergency Room and provide support to nursing staff
- Assist in transcribing physician orders and maintaining patient records
- Order supplies and prepare patient charts as needed
- Aid in various indirect patient care tasks

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires, effective April 2014.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
  • Must obtain current BLS certificate within 6 months of hire and keep it up to date
  • Experience with word processing and database management on computers is preferred
