Our employees are often spending time on their shifts exploring museums, doing arts and crafts, going on walks/nature hikes, seeing movies at the theater, bowling, or going to Valleyfair or a variety of other action-packed places. These activities are either prepaid by Companion Linc or staff are reimbursed for admission.

**Competitive Pay & Great Benefits** - Direct Support Professionals start at $16.00/hour (0-2 yrs experience) or $17.00/hour (2+ yrs experience); Sleepover positions start and $10.33/hour with a raise at 12 months, based upon satisfactory performance. Employees are paid to complete and maintain all required training for their position. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.

Companion Linc is a 245D Waivered Services Provider that supports approximately 150 individuals throughout the Metro Area with a variety of intellectual and/or physical needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.

***Positions, Hours & Wage:***

Every Tuesday and Thursday Sleepover 10PM-8AM

Sleepover Rate $10.33/hour; DSP Rate $16.00-$17.00/hour

Full or Part-Time hours available

BONUS of up to $1000 over the first 6 months of employment.

***Department Description:***

This position will support one individual in her personal home who has physical support needs. ****Preference for FEMALE staff**.**

***Job Duties:***

Provide supervision and training for light housekeeping and personal care needs.

Assist individual to achieve and exceed their personal goals.

Provide guidance in administering medications.

Assist individual with personal hygiene.

Provide individual with physical, emotional, and behavioral support allowing them to actively participate in activities offered while encouraging personal choices and assisting to maintain their personal safety.

Provide transportation to activities using the individual's vehicle.

Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned.

Other duties specific to individual supported.

***Job Requirements:***

Ability to lift and carry at least 20lbs

18 years of age or older

Valid driver's license

Ability to provide vehicle insurance

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

Minnesota DHS background study clearance

Prefer work experience in the human services field

Willingness to participate with the individual supported a in variety of scheduled community activities

Individual prefers **FEMALE** staff
