We are seeking a reliable and friendly Inn Assistant to join our small team. As an Inn Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including front desk duties, housekeeping, and laundry. This position is for approximately 32 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the inn and local attractions.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails.
  • Process payments and manage reservations.

Housekeeping:
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms to a high standard.
  • Ensure common areas are tidy and welcoming.
  • Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.

Laundry:
  • Wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels.
  • Ensure all laundry is cleaned and stored appropriately.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for managing reservations and payments.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as folding laundry.
