Summary: CHRISTUS Children's in San Antonio is a top-notch children's hospital, partnered with Baylor College of Medicine, a renowned academic health science center. The Department of Otolaryngology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Pediatric Otolaryngology Physician to join their team at The Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
Job Duties
- Establish criteria and conduct patient care reviews to analyze and evaluate quality of care.
- Recommend clinical privileges and assess department's adherence to medical policies and procedures.
- Coordinate patient care within the department and with external providers.
- Take action to address issues and improve patient care.
- Submit reports on review and evaluation activities and provide education to department members.
Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
- MD degree or equivalent
- Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology
- Board certification or eligibility in otolaryngology
- Experience with children with chronic illness and medication management
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, patient education experience
- Certifications in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support
