Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation, control circuits, and equipment at our hydropower generation facility.
Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control equipment.
  • Interpret installation specs, wiring schematics, and diagrams.
  • Mount, wire, program, and test equipment ensuring functionality.
  • Perform maintenance and calibration on equipment and SCADA systems.
  • Conduct system tests and analyze performance to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with control engineers to enhance system performance.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in electronics, instrumentation, or related field, or equivalent training/experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience with instrumentation, PLCs, and computer systems.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code and calibration standards.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and operate diagnostic tools.
