The Validation Engineer (Mid Level) will be responsible for leading the verification and validation efforts on various industrial automation projects (PlantPAx), will create reports, and ensure that all requirements have been verified.


Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Approve test cases and protocols using Azure DevOps.
  • Create verification and validation reports, traceability matrix, and manage the overall software (PlantPAx) release process.
  • Support project management, automation and NPI team projects with verification and validation, and the management of technical aspect of master document templates.
  • Analyze software and hardware changes to determine impact on current offering or requirement for additional testing.
  • Ensure user stories and bugs (Agile) are sufficiently tested according to QA best practices.

Required qualifications:
1
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related computer field.
2
Strong expertise in software or hardware testing, software development, software support.
3
Experience working in Agile methodology.
4

Experience with Rockwell software:
PlantPAx

5
Experience with IT/OT networking.
