Join Our Team as a Food Service Worker

  • Re-stock food and small wares supplies according to the established par levels
  • Deliver or serve patient/guest meal trays and retail food items accurately and in a timely manner
  • Keep retail or production preparation areas clean and sanitary following the established Public Health District standards
  • Follow guidelines for food handling and sanitation to ensure compliance
  • Prepare food and beverage requests promptly and accurately
  • Complete dish and ware washing tasks as assigned
  • Handle cash transactions for guest tray charges and retail food operations accurately
  • Maintain dish room, ware washing area, and tray assembly area in a clean and sanitary condition
  • Minimize overproduction to reduce waste and control food costs
  • Assist as a grill cook when required

The Food Service Worker undertakes various responsibilities in a food service environment, including assembling/delivering patient trays, dishwashing, salad bar preparation, short-order cooking, serving in the cafeteria, restocking, operating the cash register, and cleaning duties.
