Position Title: Sr. Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Headquarters-Troy, MI

Description:
This role involves supporting businesses in implementing technology solutions efficiently by identifying project requirements and communicating them effectively to all involved. Business analysts are typically assigned to projects, business divisions, or technology platforms and are involved in every phase of development, from analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance, following established System Development Methodology (SDM) processes. They collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including project teams, business unit representatives, and technical staff, facilitating communication among all parties. The senior business analyst focuses on complex business initiatives, offering expert advice on solution design and implementation, while also mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with businesses to enhance process efficiency and achieve strategic goals through technology utilization. Evaluate business needs, assist with solution design and implementation, and establish a roadmap for meeting objectives.
  • Play a key role in project teams, documenting decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Gather specific requirements using various methods and act as a bridge between customer community and development teams.
  • Document technical details, project information, and develop training material. Collaborate with team members on tasks, monitor project progress, and address challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, staying informed of internal compliance policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT Projects, preferably on moderate to complex projects.
  • Experience collecting and documenting requirements across various disciplines, refining user stories, and collaborating with IT developers.
  • Strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and tools such as JIRA/Confluence is a plus.
