RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage and administer Windows-based servers, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance.

2. Oversee the implementation, and maintenance of virtualized environments

3. Perform regular system updates, patches, and configurations to enhance system reliability and security.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and support business-critical applications.

5. Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.

6. Maintain backup and recovery systems for Windows servers and virtualized environments.

7. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.

8. Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

9. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to existing systems.

10. Actively participate in companys Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policy.

11. Ensure security, compliance, privacy, and best practices are being adhered to as required.

12. Perform all other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. Proven experience 3 years as a Windows Systems Administrator and expertise in VM administration. Additional experience with Linux is a plus.

3. In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.

4. Robust understanding and experience with Azure Active Directory and Office365 and cloud services are a must.

5. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation tasks.

6. Familiarity with storage solutions and networking protocols.

7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

8. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP) are a plus.
