JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently looking for a CT Technologist to join our team in the Diagnostic Imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic tests using CT scanners and collaborating closely with medical staff to ensure the best patient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Position patients for CT exams.
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks following guidelines.
  • Administer contrast material based on criteria.
  • Ensure patient safety at all times in the department.
  • Interpret physician's orders accurately.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • CT certification by ARRT.
  • Minimum one-year experience as a CT technologist.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating CT equipment.
  • Familiarity with departmental procedures and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of medical imaging software.
  • Ability to rotate shifts and cover call as needed.
