Dental One Associates of Waldorf is expanding its team and currently seeking a Dental Hygienist for our Waldorf, Maryland office. This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

  • $52-$56 per hour

Dental One Associates is a reputable and successful practice that highly values its hygienists and the crucial role they play in our accomplishments. Our collaborative team works in a cutting-edge facility, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as Overjet, CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) to ensure our patients receive top-notch care while empowering our hygienists to deliver quality work they can take pride in.

Prior experience as a hygienist is advantageous, but we welcome applications from new hygiene graduates as well. The ideal candidate must hold an active hygiene license in Maryland. For recent graduates, obtaining a license is in process.

Our office's prime location in Waldorf provides convenient access to the St. Charles residential area, Waldorf Town Center Mall, and various dining establishments, making it ideal for lunch breaks.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to enhance patients' oral health
  • Provide oral hygiene dental treatment under supervision, adhering to state-approved guidelines
  • Conduct patient screenings, maintain dental charts, and apply fluoride and sealants
  • Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line
  • Offer nutritional counseling and preventive self-care programs
  • Perform any other assigned duties
Qualifications
  • Active Hygiene license in Maryland
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
