The CNC Programmer position, reporting to the Operations Manager, requires a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude in a collaborative environment.

Primary Job Functions:

• Develop programs, tooling & fixtures for Pro Moto Billet & Fastway manufactured parts
• Enhance programs to minimize labor, set up times, run times, and errors
• Offer insights to engineering/operations for program optimization and tooling needs
• Document processes and procedures
• Support R&D activities such as prototyping, first articles, new fitment, and product design
• Operate and program parts on various machinery including Vertical mills, horizontal mills, lathe, and live tooling lathes
• Ensure high-quality standards, conduct inspections, troubleshoot, and implement corrective measures
• Drive reduction in scrap rates
• Participate in the creation of standardized tool sets
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively
• Ensure attention to detail and contribute to a safe work environment
• Aid the production team in developing production processes and procedures
• Maintain technical product data (drawings, documents, instruction sheets, Quickbase)
• Preferred experience with Renishaw probing macros and subroutines
• Perform additional assigned duties and adapt to changing work flows

Skills/Education:

• Four years of combined experience in machining and CAM programming
• Proficiency in programming 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
• Proficient in Solidworks and CAM programming with FeatureCAM experience being a plus
• Essential CNC experience, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organization, time management, and project management abilities

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be capable of lifting, pushing, pulling objects weighing 25 pounds or more and standing for extended periods.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Compensation

Salary range from 55k to 65k based on experience
