Duties


The primary purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day activities of the Aerial Port Squadron and act as a senior representative when needed. Responsibilities include providing advice and guidance to organizational leadership.


Requirements


Conditions of Employment:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be a current member of the AF Reserve or willing/qualified to join
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
  • Must adhere to various employment conditions and program requirements
  • Must maintain current certifications

Qualifications


Applicants must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management Qualification Standards. In addition, specialized experience at the next lower grade level is required, showcasing knowledge of Aerial Port operations and transportation functions.


Education: Successful completion of relevant education or a combination of education and experience is required.


Additional Information

  • This position involves various duties related to Air Reserve Technician (ART) responsibilities.
  • Incumbents may be required to fly on commercial and/or military aircraft for assignments.
  • Position is designated as Mission Essential to ensure operation continuity during critical times.
