Columbus, Ohio, United States Oracle Full time

Job Description

We're a cloud technology company that provides organizations around the world with computing infrastructure and software to help them innovate, unlock efficiencies, and become more effective. We also created the world's first – and only – autonomous database to help organize and secure our customers' data.

The work we do is not only redefining the world of business--it's helping defend governments, and advance scientific and medical research. From nonprofits to companies of all sizes, millions of people use our tools to streamline supply chains, make HR more human, quickly pivot to a new financial plan, and connect data and people around the world. Oracle is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to craft and implement global and regional partner programs to drive long-term growth and revenue for Oracle through understanding and implementing the fundamental drivers of the business from customer, partner, and competitor perspectives. The Oracle partner ecosystem fuels our delivery of innovative solutions to the market, enables greater access and procurement options for customers, and supports customer objectives of achieving success from their investment in Oracle technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in driving growth through strategic partner programs, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer and market needs, partner economics, and the ability to leverage programs, incentives, and important metrics to drive growth through channel and services partners. This role requires critical thinking and creativity when it comes to delivering strategic programmatic approaches to drive significant revenue through the design, delivery, and execution with partners that sell through Oracle cloud services and other technologies to customers, as well as those services partners that co-sell with Oracle technologies and services. The candidate will possess an extensive background working with cloud technology partnerships and partner programs, program/project management, understanding of Service Integrators (SI), ISVs, along with strong business development, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills.

They should be a self-starter, with demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and technical challenges to help build and convey compelling value propositions for Oracle customers with our partners. The candidate should also have a consistent track record of influencing innovation through a partner ecosystem with a prior solution and program successes.

Career Level - IC5

Responsibilities

With a key focus on meeting customer needs, the role will focus on building and strengthening programmatic offerings to partners by identifying, architecting, and implementing ecosystem programs for services providers who co-sell with Oracle and channel sellers who sell through Oracle technologies.

Discover and explore new business creation opportunities. Design innovative and outstanding programs that deliver comprehensive solutions for customers and help support Oracle's strong focus on customer success.

Own the design, development, and management of services and channel partner programs to drive growth and engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer and market needs and translate them into effective partner program strategies.

Leverage partner programs and incentives to drive desired partner behaviors and outcomes. Deeply understand partner needs, opportunities, strategies, and objectives to create programmatic joint business and technology opportunities that support the success of our partners and joint customers.

Design and implement meaningful metrics to measure program success and partner performance. Develop and implement partner performance management strategies, including regular reviews, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans.

Continuously analyze program performance and partner feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with internal team members to implement program improvements and drive greater partner satisfaction and success.

Drive data-driven decisions and examine business opportunities in the context of value creation and risk.

Demonstrate exceptional partnership and collaboration skills within the team, across the Strategic Partners Group, and with all our Oracle team members to integrate ecosystem strategy into broader business objectives.

Demonstrate questioning and listening skills in formal and informal settings; communicate effectively with all team members; be an outstanding representative of Oracle and have the capability of sharing Oracle's story in a compelling manner that is relevant to Oracle, our partners, and customers.

Proven abilities to bring structured thinking and decision-making to ambiguous opportunities and challenges; work towards clarity; and demonstrated capabilities to successfully influence and connect with executives at every level.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be focused on ecosystem program design and governance which will align with Oracle's overall corporate strategy, product roadmaps; an accelerated growth of a partner ecosystem that delivers solutions using Oracle products and services, and a strong partner ecosystem that complements Oracle's products and services.

More specifically, the candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree. MBA or another advanced college degree preferred
