Job Summary:

Join our instructional team as a Teacher, responsible for delivering curriculum, assessments, and classroom management aligned with the school's vision and academic standards. Effective communication and personalized student support are key aspects of this role. Work collaboratively to identify and address student needs for a successful learning experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide small group instruction in an alternative school setting;
  • Plan and implement student instruction to achieve curriculum objectives;
  • Work effectively with struggling students at all levels;
  • Select appropriate instructional materials aligned with content standards;
  • Analyze data for student assessment and progress reports;
  • Maintain student attendance and records;
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and student assessments;
  • Contribute to student education service plans;
  • Administer academic assessments;
  • Monitor student progress and graduation requirements;
  • Communicate with parents, staff, and community as needed;
  • Utilize computer-based instruction;
  • Maintain accurate student documentation;
  • Supervise student education requirements;
  • Coach and mentor students;
  • Contribute to a professional team environment;
  • Other duties as assigned by the Principal

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree;
  • Teacher certification;
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
  • Evidence of post-college educational experiences;
  • Comfort with instructional technology;
  • Experience working with students;
