Position Summary:

As a PBX Operator, your role involves efficiently managing incoming calls to the switchboard. You will handle high call volumes, interact courteously with callers, and oversee alarm systems.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate departments.
• Monitor alarm panels and code phones.
• Assist physicians with long-distance calls.
• Page overhead announcements for employees.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Participate in educational and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

No specific requirements; a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED will be considered. Preference for candidates with a HS diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience:

No prior experience necessary.
