Your Role

  • Handle service calls and diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Communicate with customers to identify system issues
  • Repair fire alarm systems and related products on-site
  • Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals for repairs
  • Install and troubleshoot various Fire & Life Safety systems
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure satisfaction
  • Complete service calls and maintain proper records
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Train team members as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in low-voltage electrical systems
  • Fire Alarm License
  • Ability to read blueprints and manuals
  • Knowledge of testing equipment and commissioning devices
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Physically able to lift and move equipment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel overnight
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Organizational ability and quick learner
  • Valid driver's license and clean record
  • Pass background and drug tests
  • Compliance with safety regulations
  • Positive attitude with a focus on learning and growth
  • Required licenses according to codes
  • Technicians needed in Sarasota and surrounding areas

Preferred

  • NICET Level II certification
