Job Description: Assumes shift responsibility and accountability for nursing care, coordinating a multi-disciplinary team for optimal health care outcomes. Provides professional leadership, oversees employees, and ensures Patient-Centered Care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards consistently.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing school with a BSN required.
Experience: Minimum one-year full-time or three years part-time acute care nursing experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in physical assessment of cardiovascular patients, 12 lead EKG interpretation, and knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Experience with stress testing preferred.
License/Certification: Current RN license in Nevada, BLS certification, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or required specialty training upon hire.
Other: Successful completion of pre-employment assessments mandated by the facility.
Note: Incumbents with 20+ years in this position as of 3/1/2023 will not require a bachelor's degree.
