We have an opening for you to utilize your leadership and analytical abilities to enhance Data Science and AI within the DoD. You will collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their inquiries and requirements, delving into their data-rich environment to piece together the information puzzle. Your role will involve mentoring team members, leading technical teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and leveraging various tools and frameworks to derive objective answers from disparate data points. By providing the DoD leadership with profound insights into their data, you will empower them to make informed decisions. Your Qualifications:

  • More than 7 years of experience in project management, business analytics, project analytics, or data science
  • Proficiency in consulting practices, encompassing requirements gathering, project scope definition, and team management
  • Familiarity with business, project, program, or portfolio performance metrics, including their establishment, analysis, and reporting
  • Competence in utilizing data science and data visualization tools such as R, Tableau, Power BI, and Python
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and nurturing junior staff - both technical and non-technical
  • Background in business development, including marketing and proposal writing
  • Ability to function effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional, and diverse professional environment
  • Hold a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous involvement in significant DoD initiatives or programs, such as MDAP or ACAT-1
  • Experience with AI, encompassing machine learning and intelligence automation
  • Ability to adapt, demonstrate initiative and innovation, and navigate through ambiguous and fast-paced scenarios
  • Excellent data-gathering, analytical, and problems-solving capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication proficiencies
  • Certifications like Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Project Management, or Analytics Certification

Clearance Requirements:

Candidates chosen will undergo a security assessment and must meet the eligibility criteria for accessing classified information; Secret clearance is mandatory.

At Booz Allen, salary is determined by various factors, including location, educational background, skills, competencies, and experience, in addition to specific contract obligations and organizational requirements. The anticipated salary range for this role is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 annually USD. The provided estimate represents the typical salary bracket for this position and forms part of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package for employees. This posting will be closed within 90 days of the Posting Date.
