Atrium Health Women's Care is home to one of the most expansive OB/GYN teams in the nation, comprised of board-certified specialists in every focus of a woman's health. These experts provide world-class obstetric and gynecological care at locations throughout our region, including maternity centers and state-of-the-art facilities for infertility treatment and pelvic health. With nearly 200 physicians and providers, we have one of the largest OB/GYN teams in the nation. We have 9 maternity centers in the greater Charlotte area, where hundreds of babies are delivered every day.

Position Highlights:

  • Three established practice sites with existing patient panels, MMP, Arboretum, and Plaza Midwood.
  • Clinic Hours are 8am-5pm.
  • No nights, weekends, or call coverage.
  • Practice consists of 12 generalists, 4 GYN only physicians, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Excellent medical community and referral region reputation.
  • Access within Atrium Heath to MFM, GYN ONC, Urogyn, REI, and Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology.
  • 130 monthly deliveries at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Level IV NICU

Position Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioners are required to have a Master's degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice. License to practice as a Registered Nurse required. Certification as nurse practitioner from a nationally recognized certifying body required.
  • Physician Assistants required to graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program, Master's Degree preferred. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred.
  • Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
  • BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
  • +1 years of experience preferred, but not required

Atrium Health CMC is the Regional Perinatal Center, with the largest neonatal intensive care nursery in the Carolinas, as well as the only ECMO (heart/lung respiratory assistance) system in the region. Carolinas Medical Center provides 24-hour neonatologist, perinatologist, and anesthesiologist care as well as around the clock availability of every kind of specialist imaginable.
