Sunday through Saturday

Main Responsibilities:

  • Keeps RN informed about patient observations and changes promptly.
  • Maintains a safe environment and assists with patient activities.
  • Performs vital sign checks, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other medical tasks.
  • Supports with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.
  • Follows unit specific procedures and maintains patient safety.
  • Attends staff meetings and in-service programs as required.


Qualifications:

License/Certification/Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CNA, EMT, or Certified Medical Assistant license is preferred.
  • Prior clinical experience or related training required.

Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must maintain patient confidentiality and respect.


Physical Demands and Environment:

Work takes place indoors in a patient care setting. Involves heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
