Summary:
The Site Safety Representative will be primarily responsible for maintaining existing award-winning safety protocols at our corporate office, designated remote offices and projects. The position would report and work daily with the project team, subcontractors, Corporate ES&H Project Supervisor and our subsequent ES&H team members. They are ultimately responsible to Corporate ES&H Management.
Our ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs, and e-learning. Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Abide by and maintain existing training plans from ES&H management, departments, and projects.
  • When applicable, select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes).
  • Use known OSHA principles and stay up to date with regulations.
  • Gather feedback from their assigned safety agents in the field.
  • Work with site safety representatives as to site specific PPE requirements.
Qualifications and Prerequisites: (GC and Site Requirements below)
  • The individual selected to fill this position is recommended to have the following qualifications:
    § Five (5) years of construction experience.
    § Three (3) years of safety experience (over 50% of time in safety).
    § Successful completion of OSHA 30 Hour training (or OSHA 500 certified trainer).
  • Preferred to be bilingual in both English and Spanish, read, write, and speak.
